Conflict of interest

Support Coordination and Connection Services must protect your choice and control. This page explains how Felix SCC manages real and perceived conflicts of interest in Western Australia.

Our commitment

We will recommend and connect you to supports that suit your goals and preferences — not because of a hidden benefit to Felix SCC, The Felix Group, or a related product or company. Where a conflict cannot be avoided, we will declare it and manage it openly with you.

What a conflict of interest means here

A conflict can arise when our interests (or those of related entities) could influence — or look like they influence — advice about providers, products, or pathways. Examples include:

  • connections to other Felix Group companies or products (for example technology products sold under the Group)
  • relationships with providers we know well
  • any incentive, referral fee, or preferential arrangement

How we manage conflicts

  • Disclose — we tell you about relevant interests in plain language.
  • Offer options — we shortlist more than one suitable provider where the market allows, aligned to your preferences.
  • Document — we record disclosures, options offered, and your decisions in your file.
  • Separate roles — Felix SCC provides Support Coordination and Connection Services; we do not provide support-worker shifts. That separation reduces pressure to “keep work in-house.”
  • No pressure — you can decline any suggested provider or product without affecting access to our coordination service.

Related entities

Felix SCC is part of The Felix Group. The Group also includes other companies and may sell products (such as software tools for organisations). If a Group product or company could be relevant to your situation, we will say so and still present alternatives so you can choose.

Raise a concern

If you think a conflict has not been handled well, use our complaints and feedback process, or contact the NDIS Quality and Safeguards Commission (1800 035 544).
